Srinagar, Apr 16 (KB) : A man from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district died in a tragic road accident in Srinagar’s Rajbagh area on Tuesday evening after being hit by a speeding motorcycle.
As per details available with news agency Kashmir Bulletin, deceased Tanveer Ahmed Lone, a resident of Onagam village in Bandipora, was critically injured in the accident and rushed to SMHS Hospital.
Despite efforts by doctors to save him, he succumbed to his injuries later in the evening.
As per reports lone was working at a private hotel in Rajbagh at the time of the accident.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation. The motorcyclist involved in the crash is being traced, officials said. (KB)
