BMO Issues Explanation Call, Withholds Half July Salary
Rajouri, July 15 (JKNS): The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Darhal has issued an explanation notice to two staff members of NTPHC Nadian, for remaining absent from duty without prior permission.
Details available with news agency JKNS, During a surprise inspection by Hon’ble MLA Thanamandi, Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, at NTPHC Nadian in Darhal block of Rajouri district, two healthcare staff members were found absent from duty without prior approval or sanctioned leave.
According to an official communication accessed by JKNS, the absent employees Sh. Mohd Javaid (Sr. Pharmacist) and Smt. Zahida Parveen (MTS) were not present at the facility during the MLA’s visit on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, severely impacting patient services and administrative functioning.
Taking strong note of the unauthorized absence, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Darhal has issued an explanation call to both employees, directing them to submit a written response within two days. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary proceedings under relevant rules.
Furthermore, the BMO has ordered the withholding of 2½ days’ salary for both staff members for the month of July as an immediate penalty.
The matter has also been communicated to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri for further action. (JKNS)
