Awantipora April 03: In a determined effort to curb illegal mining, J&K Police have seized 03 vehicles involved in unauthorized transportation of minerals in Awantipora.
A Police party from Police Station Tral, led by SHO PS Tral, seized the three Tractors bearing Chasis NOs B756855414106, 328267809611HS, 895686542701A involved in illegal mining activities in Tral area. Accordingly, a case FIR Number 34/2026 under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Tral and further investigation has been initiated.
J&K Police reiterates its commitment to curb illegal mining and urges the public to report such activities to the nearest police unit.
