Ganderbal, 12 June :Ganderbal Police extended a warm welcome to the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) deployed in the district for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2025, reaffirming a united front to ensure a peaceful and secure pilgrimage.
In a key coordination meeting held at the Conference Hall of District Police Office (DPO) Ganderbal, SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS received the Commanding Officers (COs) of Adhoc Companies with full respect and appreciation. The session marked the beginning of joint efforts between J&K Police and CAPFs to guarantee a safe and smooth Yatra.
During the high-level interaction, detailed discussions were held on strategic deployment, inter-agency coordination, and real-time communication mechanisms. Officers deliberated on vital aspects including route security, area domination, traffic management, crowd control, and providing humanitarian support to the devotees.
Emphasis was laid on adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), understanding the threat perception, and preparing for any contingencies. All participating forces expressed their full commitment to upholding the sanctity of the Yatra and ensuring the highest levels of security and service.
